SYLVANIA, OH — November 17th, 2020 — H2flow Controls, Inc. FlowVis is the flow meter of choice for pool professionals everywhere, and H2flow Controls is pleased to announce the availability of several new FlowVis models and significant updates to certain existing units.

Among the changes to the product line are new models for 6-inch and 8-inch pipe diameters. These new, larger units feature an easy-to-install saddle-clamp design, incredible accuracy, and compatibility with FlowVis Digital.

New FlowVis scale

significant updates to flowvis flow meters

FV-6 FlowVis

The all-new FV-6 with saddle-clamp and velocity scale for 6-inch pipe diameters.

FV-8 FlowVis

The all-new FV-8 with saddle-clamp and velocity scale for 8-inch pipe diameters.

The redesign of the internal carriage assembly for the 3-inch and 4-inch models is another major improvement. This has resulted in a more linear flow scale, increased flow range, greater serviceability, and built-in compatibility with FlowVis Digital. Further, a new model has been developed specifically for use on 3-inch, Schedule 40 pipe (model FV-3-40).

New 1.5-inch and 2-inch models with Union-style valve bodies make installation to existing equipment - where it may be difficult to spread the pipe - much easier. Union models also allow for the user to quickly and easily uninstall the FlowVis during periods where freezing conditions may occur.

A new velocity scale for all U.S. models is yet another significant upgrade that has been made to the product line. Safety advocates and future industry standards will be placing greater emphasis on knowing the velocity of water flowing through a filtration system, especially suction fittings. FlowVis is the first flow meter to provide dual readings of flow (GPM) and velocity (ft/s).

The model for 2-inch and 2.5-inch, previously known as FV-C, will now become two separate models: model FV-2 (for 2-inch) and FV-25 (for 2.5-inch). While FV-2 and FV-25 are available for immediate delivery, model FV-C will still be available until a yet-to-be-determined date in 2021.

The final update, and perhaps the most significant, is that all models for 1.5-inch through 8-inch pipe diameters are now compatible with FlowVis Digital (model FV-D). FlowVis Digital offers an ease of access not found in analog FlowVis models, as the product can be remotely mounted in any location. As with all FlowVis models, the accuracy and reliability of FlowVis Digital is unmatched by any competing technology.
